Comprehensive oral examination
We perform a complete oral exam to thoroughly evaluate your dental health, using digital radiographs to ensure precise diagnosis.
Tailored treatment plan
Based on your exam, we creat a treatment plan crafted specifically to address all your needs and wants. We treatment plan with you, not for you!
Scale and polish
We’ll give your teeth a thorough clean to remove any build-up that has formed. We also take the time to check your gum health, making sure everything is in great condition. It’s a gentle way to keep your smile healthy and feeling fresh.
Photographic records
We use a small intra-oral camera to take clear, close-up images of your teeth. This helps us show you exactly what we see, so we can look at any concerns together and discuss the best treatment options.

When you visit West End Dental, please bring your private health card (and Medicare/ DVA card if applicable) to help streamline any claims or rebates. If you’ve had major dental work in the past, bringing any relevant records or details can assist our team in providing the best care for you. Other than that, just bring yourself – we’ll take care of the rest!
We recommend regular dental checkups every 6 to 12 months, depending on your age, oral health, and dental history. Routine visits help prevent issues before they become major problems and keep your smile in top shape.
Yes! We accept all major health and dental insurance policies and can process your claims at reception—just be sure to bring your card with you. If you’d like to check coverage or procedure costs with your insurer before your visit, feel free to call or email our reception team, and they’ll be happy to assist.
We don’t want anxiety to be a hindrance to the benefits of healthy teeth and good self-esteem. At our clinic we like to keep things calm and friendly with our words and positive attitude. We like to fully explain and discuss options, both prior to treatment and as we go.
We also like to play calming videos on our ceiling TV, or you can even play your favourite shows!
All our clinicians are all skilled at giving painless local anaesthetics, and even though we rarely need these, we do have mild sedative options available.
At West End Dental, we understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. To ensure we can accommodate all of our patients efficiently, we kindly ask that you provide at least 48 business hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Please contact us directly at 3844 4055 to make any changes to your appointment. Please note, if you text or email us in regards to an appointment change, your request may take longer to process therefore it’s best to contact us directly via phone.
If we receive less than 48 business hours notice, a cancellation fee may apply. Short notice doesn’t allow us enough time to offer the appointment slot to another patient in need of care.
As we are a busy clinic, it may take a little longer to find another spot for you, so take this into consideration before making any adjustments to your appointments!
